The Beautiful Game of Football

As expected, Man Utd sit at the top of the table but are only separated by their rivals, Man City, who are separated by goal difference. Man City might have a few chances this season to at least jump ahead of their rivals, with Newcastle looking to be be dropped from their top 4 position. Liverpool and Tottenham both look eager to claim the top 4 spot that everyone wants so badly as it of course means the Champions League spot, (cue the Champions League theme).

But, as always this season, Arsenal seem to be struggling the most and don't seem to have a glimmer of hope to compete in europe next season, with two of their most prized midfielders having left in the Summer transfer window. Sitting in 15th says it all.

All three newly promoted teams this season seem to have had a bright start to the season, with two of them sitting in the top 10. This should be an interesting season, especially with the Blackburn fans with their protests to get rid of the manager. And there were some "interesting" rumours that he was about to sign Ronaldinho in the transfer window....Oh well.
